Founder & DEI Strategist: Melvin Lunkins
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, Melvin partners with corporate, nonprofit, military, and academic organizations to move beyond surface-level efforts and enact real, lasting change. His background includes:
- Academic DEI leadership at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he lectured DEI courses, integrated inclusive pedagogy, and developed student support frameworks
- Academic DEI program coordination, working directly with faculty to integrate equity into curricula, classrooms, and institutional policies
- Military Equal Opportunity Advisor, implementing EO policies, training, and recruitment initiatives to ensure fair treatment and inclusions
- Community partnerships with Detroit-area veterans and nonprofit organizations to advance equity programs at the grassroots level
